  • First Nextel Cup Start-Michigan International Speedway, August 2004 (Top 10 Finish)
  • First Busch Series Pole Position-Las Vegas Motor Speedway, March 2005
  • Edwards is the first driver in history to register his first Busch Series and NEXTEL Cup wins on the same weekend. (Atlanta Motor Speedway, Marcd 2005)
  • In his first career start at Pocono Raceway, June 2005 , Carl Edwards won his second career NEXTEL Cup win and a first victory for owner Jack Rousch at the track.
  • Over the last 11 years, he has raced into NASCAR history with two NASCAR-sanctioned track championships, three Rookie-Of-The-Year honors, and 79 feature wins while racing on both dirt and paved tracks across the country.
  • After 26 regular season starts in 2005, Edwards became the first driver to qualify for the "Chase" in his first full NEXTEL Cup season. With two wins, one pole, eight top five and 10 top 10 finishes, Edwards looks ahead to the final 10 races and the chance to become the second NEXTEL Cup Champion.
  • In 2004, Edwards raced the No. 99 Superchips F-150 to three wins, nine top five and 10 top 10 finishes while finishing fourth in the overall Craftsman Series point standings.
  • Edwards made his NEXTEL Cup debut in August 2004 at Michigan International Speedway finishing 10th in his first career Cup start.
  • During his first 25 NEXTEL Cup starts, Edwards has collected four top 5 and 10 top 10 finishes.
  • Office Depot, the "Official Office Products Partner of NASCAR" has signed a new multi-year deal to be the primary sponsor of the No. 99 Rousch Racing Ford, driven by Carl Edwards beginning in the 2006 NASCAR Cup season.
  • Carl is the 11th driver in history to win a race in all three NASCAR series-Craftsman, Busch, and NEXTEL Cup.
